Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative (WEPBI) is a humanitarian and development based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), which has its focus on addressing some of the salient needs that confront women and girls in our society today.

 

Our Mission is to raise women and girls to stand out in our society, participate in decision making process and in peace building, irrespective of their creed.

 

Our Vision is to build an equitable society, in which women are competent and great leaders.

 

With specific focus to thematic areas on:

Capacity Building through Women and Girls Entrepreneurship Development, Women in Good Governance, Peace Building and Conflict Resolution; Sex, health and family life education

 

Our major objectives are:

  1. To equip women in decision making by empowering them with leadership skills for their own self development.
  2. To promote the elimination of all forms of discrimination against girls and women.
  3. To promote peace building in the society

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WEPBI’S MEMBERSHIP

  1. As part of the registration process, WEPBI will validate the personal information provided by applicant for membership.
  2. WEPBI membership registration fee is One Thousand (1000) Naira only. Applicants are expected to make payment while submitting updated membership forms to the organization. This payment will be renewed on annual basis.
  3. Members are also expected to continuously update their profile information when it necessitates.
  4. Our membership is rewarding and empowering, but it also requires serious commitment.
  5. Our members forum is made up of enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable individuals who enjoy bringing out the best in each other in their service to WEPBI.
  6. We expect members to maintain high standards of behaviour and to refrain from any activity that could be detrimental to the organization’s reputation.
  7. Members of WEPBI are typically considered as ambassadors to our organization therefore, it is important for members to coordinate themselves in the most ethical way possible especially in public. Any evidence of unacceptable behaviour or misconduct will lead to loss of membership.
  8. By registering, you accept that you do not make any financial claims using the organization’s identity from any individual or the public.
  9. Any proposed initiative or program created by any member for the purpose of organization’s development must first be reviewed and approved by the Executive Director and Board Members through the program officer, before it is being executed.
  10. WEPBI will not tolerate any form of falsehood made by a member about the organization. This could also lead to immediate loss of membership.
