{"id":582,"date":"2021-08-30T16:54:27","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T15:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/?p=582"},"modified":"2021-08-30T16:54:28","modified_gmt":"2021-08-30T15:54:28","slug":"community-women-pep-talk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/community-women-pep-talk\/","title":{"rendered":"COMMUNITY WOMEN PEP-TALK"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As a result from the success made through sensitizing women on leadership, WEPBI is proud to say that community women trained over years have gathered skills and capacity in leadership and were able to transfer that knowledge gained to other women as a result of an assignment given to them by the Executive director, Oguadimma joy Ijeoma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result obtained from the assignment is given as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In Amokwe, Mrs Aneke Gladys Idedu carried out a sensitization to other community women on the inclusion of women in politics and leadership with the importance of voter\u2019s registration and the rights of women in the society during their town hall women meetings.<\/li><li>In Ikpamodo, Mrs Idoko Virginia Anyanwu lectured about 40 other women on the importance of women inclusion in politics and leadership in their community.\u00a0 Also, Lolo Eze Francisca was seen sensitizing other women on the need for women to partake in public speaking, the difference between culture, politics and the benefits of women participation in politics.<\/li><li>In Ndeaboh, Mrs Chukwuemeka Christiana (Coordinator of Ndeaboh Ward) sensitized community women on the meaning of politics and the women shared their view on the limitation they face in regards to participating in politics and leadership. \u00a0From their experience, it was discovered that: Their husbands don\u2019t support them and thus, view them as prostitute.
