As part of its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, the Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative (WEPBI)<\/strong> visited Ugba-Edogori<\/strong>, a rural community in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State<\/strong>, to distribute relief items to women and children.<\/span><\/p>\n

The outreach, held on May 29, 2025, focused on sharing clothes, shoes, children\u2019s wear, and other essential items<\/strong> with families in need. The visit is one of WEPBI\u2019s grassroots efforts aimed at improving the living conditions of rural women and children, especially in communities where resources are scarce.<\/span><\/p>\n

Residents of Ugba-Edogori welcomed the WEPBI team with warmth and appreciation, as the donated items brought smiles and comfort to many.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe came here not just to give out items, but to show love, restore hope, and remind the women and children of Ugba-Edogori that they matter. They are not forgotten,\u201d said Ijeoma Joy Oguadimma<\/strong>, Executive Director of WEPBI.<\/span>
