{"id":2010,"date":"2023-05-03T17:55:24","date_gmt":"2023-05-03T16:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/?p=2010"},"modified":"2023-05-22T16:44:55","modified_gmt":"2023-05-22T15:44:55","slug":"woman-a-nation-builder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/woman-a-nation-builder\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman a Nation Builder"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The need for women to rise up to the challenges of nation-building has once again been brought to the fore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Executive director of Women Empowerment Education and Peace building Initiative (WEPBI) Oguadimma Ijeoma Joy, in a live television program today, &nbsp;at the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Enugu Network Centre, captioned \u2018<strong>Woman a Nation Builder\u2019 <\/strong>explained that there is every need to put to an end to the obvious marginalization of women especially in leadership and decision making spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-g3f796e\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e6 section-g3f796e gutentor-element gutentor-element-image\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/M1-1.jpg\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>She stressed the need for capacity building for women and mentorship, adding that women, over time have proven to be very efficient in leadership and decision making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-g6e3a19\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e6 section-g6e3a19 gutentor-element gutentor-element-image\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/wepbi.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/M2.jpg\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Oguadimma maintained that one of the reasons that have contributed to&nbsp; the low representation of women in decision making process is lack of support, which she said will soon be a thing of the past having in mind that women are now making serious effort towards ensuring they get the much needed representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She ended by saying that as women we should believe in ourselves that we can do it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The need for women to rise up to the challenges of nation-building has once again been brought to the fore.
