Women are setting the pace higher in Nigeria as many of them make the country proud in 2022

On the 2nd of July 2022, Temilade who is popularly with her stage name ‘TEMS’   grabbed the Best International Act Award at BET 2022.

 Asisat Oshoala was also on the 22nd of July crowned the best female footballer in Africa

And on the 25th of July 2022 Tobi Amusan received the reward for the world athletics championship as she sets two records back to back to win gold in the 100m hurdles semi-final at the World Athletics Championships

Still this year, Adijat Adenike Olarinoye has won Nigeria’s first gold medal of the 2022 Commonwealth Games taking place in Birmingham, UK

Rafiatu Lawal also won the Nigeria’s second gold medal in weightlifting

England also wonn Women’s EURO 2022, in their finale against Germany beating all attendance records set by any team, male or female, in any UEFA competition (87,192 inside the stadium)
