Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative (WEPBI), in partnership with the Graca Machel Trust, recently hosted the 4th Jubilee Celebration of the Pan-African Adolescent Girls Movement (AGM) in Enugu, Nigeria. This remarkable milestone marked the first time the celebration was officially anchored in Nigeria, with WEPBI proudly serving as the pioneer partner organization in the country.

The gathering brought together mostly young girls who were encouraged to believe in themselves, embrace education, and pursue leadership opportunities despite the barriers they may face. The sessions were interactive, uplifting, and designed to ignite the potential of every girl present.

WEPBI’s collaboration with the Graca Machel Trust continues to pave the way for creating safe spaces where girls are mentored, inspired, and supported to thrive as future leaders. By investing in young girls today, both organizations are building a generation that will drive positive change in Nigeria and beyond.
