In relation to the death of Amarachi Iwunze who was allegedly raped to death in Imo State, the police command of the area has arrested two suspected persons.
The father of the victim, Emeka Iwunze, grandfather, Raymond Iwunze and aunt, Mrs. Kasarachi Chinedu, said when visited that two persons had been arrested in respect of the alleged killing.
According to the father, Amarachi’s cousin, Uche, was among the two persons arrested by the police.
Mrs. Kasarachi also said that Amarachi was killed for ritual purpose. “My brother’s daughter is a virgin, some of her body parts were missing when I went to the hospital to see her body, and she was killed for a ritual purpose” the enraged nurse said.
Mrs. Kasarachi then urged the government and other persons with good spirit to make sure the family of the diseased get justice.
Micheal Abattam, the police spokesperson for the command who arrested the suspects said that the command is doing everything possible to make sure that justice is properly delivered.
