Tragedy: 18 Passengers Burnt to Ashes Receive Mass Burial Immediately Close to the Scene

The remains of eighteen persons that boarded bus from Lagos, which had accident and burnt to ashes has been given a mass burial near the scene of the incident.

This happened in Gidan Kwano, along Minna-Bida in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State in the early hour of Sunday, 19th of June, 2022.

The Nations reported that the bus was said to have been coming from Lagos but no one has known its destination even though some are guessing that it is heading to Kano or Sokoto.

Because it was early morning, no one could know what happened till morning when people gathered and discovered that the passengers and the bus have been all burnt to ashes.

According to The Nations, two victims were rescued and taken to the IBB hospital where one of them gave up and the other in a critical condition.

The Niger Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Wasiu confirmed the incident and said that the victims were given a mass burial close to the scene of the accident.

According to him, even the plate number of the bus was burnt beyond recognition.
