The popular Izombe market in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo state was yesterday bombed by the Indigenous People of Biafra in their bid to enforce the sit-at-home order.
According to Daily Sun, the incident triggered a pandemonium as the traders and costumers in the market ran in different directions to save their dear lives.
An eye witness narrated that the armed men moved with force into the market after they have warned the people on the consequences of disobeying the Monday sit-at home order.
To strengthen their warning, they set two vehicles ablaze in the market which made the people to start scampering for their lives before bombing the market.
While trying to escape the danger, so many people sustained some degrees of injuries.
“They came and released a locally made bomb in the market place, and everyone started running for their lives, they poured fuel on two vehicles and set it ablaze and everywhere was filled with smoke” an eye witness said.
