In appreciation for her integrity and honesty, Interpol Systems Consultant, Sir Chikwe Udensi has gifted INEC governorship returning officer in Abia State, Prof. Nnenna Oti the sum of N100m. This came hours after another son of the state, Steven Ukpabi gifted her a brand new Prado Land Cruiser SUV.
Sir Udensi, a chieftain of APGA who sought the party’s ticket for the governorship contest announced the gift on Thursday 23, March 24, 2023.
Prof. Oti had presided over the collation of the March 18 governorship election in Abia state which produced Alex Otti of Labour Party as winner.
Prof. Oti, declared the LP candidate the winner at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Umuahia, the state capital, Wednesday afternoon after completing the suspended collation of results.
Prof. Oti was said to have rejected monetary inducement to influence the outcome of the election in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
