Empowering Young Girls for a Brighter Future: Our Successful Capacity Building Program in Enugu

In a commendable commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative recently hosted a highly successful one-day Capacity Building Program for young girls at the prestigious City Girls Secondary School in Enugu.

The program, held on October 27, 2023, was a testament to the organization’s commitment to empowering and uplifting the potential of young girls, providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to become confident, self-reliant, and empowered individuals capable of actively contributing to peace building efforts in their communities.

Key topics addressed included Empowerment through Education, Leadership Development, Conflict Resolution and Peace building, Career and Skill Development, Health and Well-being, and Inspirational Success Stories.
