The sad incidence as gathered happened at the NAFRC Old Barracks, in Lagos.
Cpl. Ebun, who works at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, NARC, knocked down the NAFRC Finance director, while driving out of the Barracks.Immediately after the incident, the senior officer was swiftly evacuated to the NAFRC Medical Center, where doctors at the Centre confirmed the victim dead.
The spokesperson, 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major Olaniyi Osoba, said he heard about the incident but lacked the authority to speak on it.
A source at the NAFRC Barracks said that Ebun was drunk at the time the incident occurred, and was driving recklessly, . and is presently detained at the NAFRC Provost for further investigations.”
Until his death, James was a fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and held memberships of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Institute of Directors, Chartered Institute of Taxation, and the National Institute.
