The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a Lagos socialite, Ademola Kazeem, few days after he was declared wanted for alleged illicit drug export and trafficking, including other crimes bordering around money laundering.
This was made known by Femi Babafemi, a spokesperson for the agency on Sunday.
He was declared wanted by the Agency after failing to comply with NDLEA invitations and an order granted by a federal high court in Lagos. The suspect was arrested Thursday 10 November 2022.

“The wanted drug trafficker was discovered as the sponsor of some traffickers arrested by the anti-narcotics agency in their recent attempt to export cocaine to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and other destinations outside of Nigeria,” the statement read.
“However, the search for him paid off on Thursday, November 10 when he was successfully detained where he is currently being interviewed.
“He was exposed after the arrest of one of his accomplice, Bolujoko Muyiwa Babalola, a BRT driver from Lagos on June 27 at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, when he named Alhaji Ademola Kazeem, alias Adekaz as the owner of the 900 grams.”
The properties of the alleged drug trafficker located at Lagos Island an Oyo State respectively, has also been sealed by the agency.
