Adolescent pregnancy have negative social and economic effects on girls, their families and the society at large. Pregnant teenagers face the stigma of rejection by parents and peers as well as threats of violence.
In the light of this, Ogene Ifunanya Women Association under the supervision of Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative(WEPBI), organized ‘A Day Seminar on The Prevention and Dangers of Early Pregnancy for Young Girls in Olocha Community, Awgu L.G.A, Enugu State.
