WEPBI Facilitates Groundbreaking Peacebuilding Consultative Meeting in Ohaji Egbema

 

In a landmark effort to foster peace and harmony, the Women Empowerment Education and Peace Building Initiative (WEPBI) hosted a one-day consultative meeting on December 3rd, 2024, at Umuokanne, Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area, Imo State. The event, supported by PIND Foundation, convened youth, women, men, and other critical stakeholders to address pressing issues surrounding conflict resolution and community cohesion.

The meeting provided a dynamic platform for participants to engage in open dialogue and share experiences on the challenges and opportunities for peacebuilding in their communities. Stakeholders collectively examined the root causes of conflicts, proposed actionable solutions, and highlighted the importance of inclusivity in resolving disputes and preventing future tensions.

Supported by the unwavering commitment of PIND Foundation, the consultative meeting went beyond discussions to inspire actionable steps toward sustainable peace. The collaborative atmosphere fostered meaningful connections among diverse groups, reinforcing the notion that unity and understanding are pivotal in overcoming conflict.
