Operatives of the Benue State Police Command have arrested four suspected child traffickers operating around the Internally Displaced Persons camp located at North Bank, a suburb of Makurdi, the state capital.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Makurdi on Wednesday.
Anene gave names of the suspected traffickers including Member Friday who is the kingpin’s wife and accomplice, Stephen Terungwa, Sughter Akegh and Atom Gideon.
He said the kingpin identified as Friday managed to escape arrest.

However, further investigations on the issue is still on going and the culprits will be brought to book.
