Children of Owo massacre victims favoured by UK Charity

IA-Foundation, a UK-based international charity has pledged to continue with the schooling responsibilities of the children of the Owo tragedy victims.

Ibirinke Adeagbo, the C.E.O of the foundation made the announcement through a phone call interview on Sunday in Abuja.

According to her, the foundation will take over the school fees of the children whose parents were killed in the cause of the attack, until they complete their secondary school.

The foundation is one amongst many that have been fighting to reduce the out-of-school children in Nigeria.

The organization also said that it would help the Edo government to take out-of-school children in the state back to their classrooms.

According to the C.E.O, every Nigeria child has an inalienable right to education, and asked the federal government to put measures in place to eradicate abduction of Nigerian kids while in school.
