A first year student of Imo State University Owerri (IMSU), Chiamaka Obodo, has met her untimely death by the strike of a thunder following a torrential rain in the area.
According to report, it was said that the victim was making a call with her cell phone inside her parents’ house when the terrifying thunder struck and she gave up to the ghost immediately before any help could come.
According to a report from Daily Post, the happening caused a tension in the neighborhood as residents of the community made their way to the scene of the incident.
One of the resident said that Chiamaka was inside the house when the lightning suddenly took control of the community accompanied by a thunder causing her death.
According to him the body has been deposited at the nearest mortuary.
A family member also added that late Chiamaka was addicted to her phone, saying that she will be buried today, the 17th of June, 2022.
